Jose Martinez Jr, age 63, entered into eternal rest on July 05, 2022, in Pearsall, TX, surrounded by his family. He was born on February 26, 1959. He is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Hortencia (Garza) Martinez, and Sister Maria de Jesus Martinez. Left to cherish his memory is his Wife of 42 years, Hermalinda C. Martinez , Son ,Juan Jose "JJ" Martinez (Wife Dominique), daughter Laura Trevino, (Husband Ruben), son, George Martinez, (Wife Valerie). Grandchildren, Gabriel Trevino, Katarina Trevino, Noah Trevino, Isaiah Martinez, Avarie Martinez, Jordan Martinez, Isaac Martinez, Jose Martinez III, Uriah Martinez, Jesiah Martinez. Sisters: Yolanda M Soliz, Juanita M Miranda, Mary M Lopez. and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 10, 2022, 3:00pm-7:00pm at Brackettville Sunset Funeral Home, 302 Spring St, Brackettville, Texas 78832. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 11, 2022, 11:00am at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Brackettville, Texas. Gentlemen with the honor of pallbearers: Juan Jose Martinez, George Martinez, Richard Terrazas, Enrique Miranda, Chris Cruz, Camilo Cruz. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Avila and Pete Jimenez. Interment to follow at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery.
