Jose Calderon, Jr., age 71, entered into rest on July 14, 2008, in Del Rio, Texas. He was born August 19, 1936, in Del Rio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Calderon, Sr., and Francisca Losoya Calderon and by his sister, Maria Elena Morales. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 46 years, Norma Flores Calderon. Son, Jose Calderon, III and wife Ana Theresa Ruiz Calderon. Daughter, Maria Teresa Betances and husband Jose. Sisters, Norma Casillas and Alma Rosa Calderon. Brother, Cesar Calderon. 7 Grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2008, from 5:00PM-9:00PM, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 17, 2008, at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jim Fischler, CICM officiating. Cremation to follow.
