Jose Antonio Alonso, age 57 entered into rest on Saturday, July 24, 2021, in Odessa, Texas. He was born November 19, 1963, in Nava, Coahuila, Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Maria and Maria Antonia Alonso. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 32 years, Rosa Maria Alonso. Son, Jose Antonio Alonso, Jr., daughters; Stephanie (Travis) Alonso Hawkins, Cecy (Juan Antonio) Perez, Julissa Alonso. Brothers; Ramon, Javier, Armando, Jose Maria, Rodrigo, and Andres Alonso. Sisters; Rosa Maria, Cayetana, Lourdes, Guadalupe, Martha, and Lorena Alonso. Grandchildren; Juan Antonio Perez, Jr., Sergio Jimenez III, Camila and Valentina Jimenez. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2021, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Gentlemen with the honor of pallbearers are Jose Antonio Alonso, Jr., Juan Antonio Perez, Travis W. Hawkins, Jimmy A. Martinez, John David Luna and Jesse Alonso. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
