Jesus T. Garcia, age 89, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born January 1, 1927 in Brackettville, Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife Eluteria Garcia and Sister Amalia Gonzalez. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Elda Terrazas, and Elva Neff and husband John, Brothers, Guadalupe Perez and Victoriano Garcia. Also survived by 7-grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 5:00PM- 9:00PM at Brackettville Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 10:00AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Gentlemen with the honors of Pallbearers will be, Omar Talamantez, Natividad Terrazas,Jose Nava, Rey Sandoval, Steven Ramirez, Guadalupe Peres Jr, Nathaniel Talamantez and Nat Terrazas IV. Honorary Pallbearers will be Liam Nava and Michael Terrazas. Interment to follow at Kinney County Cemetery.
