Gordon was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 15, 2022. He was born August 13, 1959 in Ozona, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Bruce, mother Betty Bruce, sister Tammi Bruce and brother Andrew Bruce. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Julie Bruce, daughter Kelsey Bruce, son Gordon Ayme Bruce; sisters Merri, Fawn and Joi. Full of love, life, and sarcastic wit, Gordon served and lived alongside his best friend Julie, wife of 30 years. He was a model of integrity, strength, humility and character for his children; bringing joy, life, fun, wisdom, compassion, and friendship to his family- pointing them to Jesus. With great care and attention to detail, Gordon was proud of his quality work. He enjoyed providing water to his customers through his company, Bruce Drilling and Services. Mostly, he was proud of is beautiful children and wife, never missing an opportunity to brag. Always ready to share a conversation, laugh, or helping hand to those around him-friend or stranger. He will be greatly missed by all who love him. The family will do a private celebration of life at a later date.
