Gilberto Ramirez, age 96, entered into rest on Sunday, October 30, 2016 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born on April 8, 1920 in Mexico. He was preceded in death by his wife Feliciana Ramirez; parents Eugenio and Maxima Ramirez and daughter Guadalupe Martinez. Left to cherish his memory are his sons Jesus Ramirez, Gilberto Ramirez and wife Anahi, Javier Ramirez and wife Meli, Juan Arturo and wife Alma; daughters Berta Elia Barrientos and husband Leonel, Yolanda Gavia and husband Jesus, Sylvia Valles and Ruben, Maricela Cassio and husband Cipiriano, Rosa Elia Alcorta and his brother Jorge. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Interment to follow at San Felipe Cemetery.
