George Gomez, age 58 entered into rest on, Monday, September 25, 2017 in Brackettville, Texas. He was born on March 26, 1959 in Del Rio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents Maximino, Sr. and Juanita Gomez; brothers Rocky Gomez, Patricio Gomez, Mario Gomez, Maximino Gomez, Jr.; sisters Luzgarda Cruz and Lucia Valverde. Left to cherish his memory is his son Cody Gomez and wife April; daughters Courtney Lujan and husband Chris, Kyara Rodriguez; brothers Raymond Gomez, Frank Gomez, Inocencio Gomez, Joe Gomez; sisters Laura Waddell and husband Louis, Josie Cortez, Paulita Garza and husband Jesus, Maria Inez Medina and Alice Castro; grandchildren Aubrey, Colten and Rhyder; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. at Brackettville Sunset Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:00 P.M. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kinney County Cemetery.
