Felipa Delgado Rodriguez, age 91, entered into rest January 20, 2015 in New Braunfels, Texas. She was born on September 23, 1923 in Flatonia, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro H. and Benicia Ramirez Delgado. Sons; Emilio D. Perez and Capt. Joe D. Perez. Sisters Florentina D. Valdez, Tomasa D. Lozano, Antonia D. Martinez and brothers Narciso Delgado and Pedro Delgado Jr.. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 49 years, Pedro Saldana Rodriguez. Sons, Jesus D. Perez, Jr. (Amanda), Juan D. Perez, Harry D. Perez (Delia) all from New Braunfels, Texas. Her daughter Mary Jane Rodriguez (Roy) from Canyon Lake, TX. Grandchildren; Jessie F. Perez III, Antonio F. Perez, Caryle F. Perez, Christopher F. Perez, Jacob F. Perez, Pedro F. Perez, Johnny Joe Perez, Johnny F. Perez, Dr. Michael Perez, Jameson L. Rodriguez, Andrew A. Perez, Sonia Marie Perez, Eric Espinosa, Joe M. Perez Jr., Adrianna M. Perez, Aaron John Perez, Roy W. Rodriguez Jr., Ronald K. Rodriguez and Lisa Marie Rodriguez. She is survived by 41 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Siblings; Dominga D. Mu�oz, Elis D. Ruiz, Frances D. Garcia, Demetrio Delgado, Tivo Delgado, Ysabel Delgado. She was a Christian woman who believed in loving and caring for each other and she never met a stranger. She loved her family deeply and continued to pray for all of us. We will all deeply miss her and also her excellent cooking to include the "best" tamales ever. She was an excellent and extraordinary seamstress and sewed many wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses along with a big clientele in New Braunfels for so many, which was her main source of income for many years. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015, from 5:00pm-8:30pm. Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00pm. Saturday, January 24, 2015, 12:00pm-12:45pm at Holy Family Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015, 1:00pm, at Holy Family Church. Interment to follow at Hill Country Memorial Gardens in New Braunfels, Texas. We would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to Med Team, Pinnacle Home Health Care, Jordan Home Health, Visiting Physicians, Indigent Care, Hope Hospice, Christus Santa Rosa and Kirkwood Manor Nursing for all of their continued care to ensure that she was able to live at home.
