Daniel "Danny" Mullen, beloved Husband and Father passed away on December 25, 2021 at his home in New Braunfels, Texas. He was 47 years old. He is predeceased by his father. Danny is survived by his wife, three daughters, mother, two brothers, sister, father in law, mother in law, two sisters in law, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family and friends.
Danny was born in 1974 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended and graduated from Holy Cross High School in New Orleans. He graduated from UNO in 1998 with a degree in Engineering, which gave him the opportunity to move to New Braunfels, Texas. Danny then began his career in Seguin, Texas.
He remembered the trips his parents would take him and his siblings on to Texas. Somehow, he always knew that he would return to Texas. This spirit of adventure lead Danny to a full, fun, wonderful life and home in New Braunfels.
While pursuing adventure, he loved to travel and see the world. He was an entrepreneur by nature. He was always willing to take that leap of faith and take that chance. He'd say "At least you could do it and say you tried and never have to look back and wish you had done it."
He loved his girls. Danny was the perfect example of the loving, encouraging, caring, understanding, fun and best math homework buddy that any daughter should have.
Danny's strength and courage was nothing short of astounding. Especially through his battle with stage four cancer. He never wanted to burden his loved ones and friends. He was the strongest, bravest husband and father ever known. Amidst his biggest strife we never heard a negative word uttered from him during his battle of 5 years.
He understood that the energy of positivity was contagious. He influenced so many with his smile, joy, laughter, generosity, humility, and kindness. Danny never knew a stranger in his lifetime. He always showed what it truly meant to accept and forgive all.
A protector, a remarkable husband, a father, a son, a brother, a kind friend and most of all a dignified man. Danny always showed others their best self and ultimately gave so many hope.
Danny, I Love you! Your faithful, caring, loving, admiring wife Christine. I will miss you so much!
