Concepcion V. Gonzalez, age 92, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on January 28, 1927 in Parras de la Fuente, Coahuila, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents Margarito Martinez and Leonor Garcia; daughter Leonor Gonzalez and son Robert Gonzalez. Left to cherish her memory are her children Maria T. Kristiansen, Mary Fernandez, Gloria Renteria, and Daniel Gonzalez; sister Ernestina Gomez; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 9:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Gentlemen with the Honor of Pallbearers are Lionel Lopez, Jacob Bejarano, John Bejarano, Daniel Gonzalez, Jr., Henry Renteria, and Mark Salazar. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
