Arturo G. Ozuna, age 91, entered into rest January 24, 2009, in Del Rio, Texas. He was born March 22, 1917 in Del Rio, Texas. Arturo served in WWII and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He also had five other brothers that served in the United States Army and were also WWII Veterans. He was retired from the San Felipe Del Rio Consolidated Independent School District. He is preceded in death by his wife, Minerva Moncada Ozuna. Parents Anastacio and Magdalena G. Ozuna, Left to cherish his memory are his sons: Arturo M. Ozuna, Jr., Armando Ozuna and wife Sandra, Mario Ozuna and wife Josefina, Oscar Ozuna and wife Eva, and Roberto M. Ozuna. Daughters: Magdalena Delgadillo and husband Joe, Ruth O. Sabolick and husband Steve. Brother: Arnulfo Ozuna. 23 Grandchildren and 34 Great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. Gentlemen with the Honor of serving as Pallbearers: David Lee Delgadillo, Oscar Ozuna Jr., Ozzie Ozuna, George Montgomery, Priscilla Perez and Jackee Montgomery. Honorary Pallbearers: Arnulfo Ozuna, Sr., and Emily Ozuna. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2009, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance. Prayer Service will be held at 7:00PM with Pastor Chairez, officiating. A Chapel Service will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 1:00pm, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Army and American Legion Post #595. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
