Arturo G. Garcia, Sr., age 75, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on July 25, 1941 in Del Rio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Simona Garcia. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 56 years Esperanza Garcia; sons Arturo Garcia, Jr. and wife Diane, Edward Garcia and wife Lisa; daughter Rebecca Meza and husband Eddie; brother Emilio Garcia; sisters Janie Trevino, Irene Hopkins and Leticia Garcia; grandchildren Diandra Arlissa, Rebekah Hope, Turi III, Michael Ray Garcia, Selina Ann Balvantini, E.J. Garcia, Matthew Garcia, Jennifer Meza Juarez, Jonathan Sifuentes, Guadalupe Sifuentes and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
