Antonio R. Hernandez, age 78, entered into rest August 21, 2010 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born September 4, 1931 in Del Rio, Texas. He served in the United States Army and was a Korean Conflict veteran, where he was promoted to Sergeant. He was preceded in death by his wife Bertha Hernandez, parents Pedro O. and Juanita R. Hernandez. Son Edwardo Hernandez Left to cherish his memory are his sons Raul and Lety Hernandez, Antonio JR and Romelia Hernandez, Pedro and Irma Hernandez. Daughters, Patricia and Antonio Cardenas JR, Rosa Maria and George Menchaca. Numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Pallbearers: Raul Hernandez JR, Antonio Hernandez III, Antonio Cardenas III, Edward Lee Hernandez, John David Hernandez, Francisco J. Vargas, and Alexander G. Menchaca. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 22, 2010, 5:00pm-9:00pm, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 23, 2010, 10:00am, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Post #595. Interment to follow at San Felipe Cemetery.
