He was preceded in death by his Father Macario Ortiz, Brother Tony Ortiz, Brother in-laws Arnulfo Ramirez and Juan Perales. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 42 years Estela Garcia, Son Alfredo Ortiz Jr. and wife Julie, Daughter Cynthia Ramon. Mother Adelfina Ortiz, Brothers Macario Ortiz and wife Rosie, Joe Ortiz and wife Josie. Sisters Jessie Ortiz, Alicia Ramirez, Ernestina Perales, Lydia Lopez and husband Hector, Sylvia Ortiz. Grandchildren Edmundo Ramon Jr.,Luis Reginaldo Ramon, Sophia and Adam Ortiz. Also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2013 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Gentlemen with the honor of Pallbearers: Ricardo Cortinas III, Danny Cortinas, Robert Garcia, Trinidad Garcia, Edmundo Ramon and Luis Ramon. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
