Alfred "Freddy" Garcia, age 52, entered into rest on Monday, August 28, 2023 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born on July 21, 1971.

Freddy was a Del Rio High School graduate and a former Laughlin AFB employee. He was a loving and caring individual who enjoyed barbecuing, cooking for his friends and family, and tending to his yard and dogs.

He was preceded in death by his brother Raymond Edward and his grandmother Trinidad Sosa Garcia.

Left to cherish his memory are his father Alfredo S. Garcia (wife Carol), mother Maria E. "Lily" Gallegos (husband Rosalio), and brother Robert M. Garcia, sister-in-law Tess, nephew Nathan, and nieces Isabella and Kathia of Boerne, TX.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM; recitation of the holy rosary at 6:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
