He was preceded in death by his parents Fernando and Maria Alcala', brothers Juan Alcala, Fernando Alcala Jr., Alfredo Alcala', sisters Adelaida Alcala' Parras, Francisca Alcala' Flores and Tusnelda Alcala' Cervantes and father and mother-in-law Antonio & Elisa Gonzalez. Left to cherish his memoroy is his dearly beloved wife of 53 years Former Mayor of Del Rio, Dora G. Alcala', daughters Diane Alcala' and her life partner, Victoria De Los Santos Mycue, Monica Ann Alcala' and Nora Louise Alcala'. Brother Arminio Alcala' and wife Mary Lou, sister Hermilia Alcala' Barrera of Kileen, Texas, Brothers-in-law Arnoldo Gonzalez and wife Rosalina, Antonio Gonzalez Jr. and wife Celestina, Mario Gonzalez and fiancee, Dr. Esperanza Maldonaldo and his beloved sister-in-law Dr. Maria Del Rosario Gonzalez-Ramirez and husband Arturo Ramirez Jr. Also numerous nephews and nieces. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 30, 2013 10:00am, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by Laughlin Air Force Base Honor Guard.
